  1. I love this. I was telling my husband that Shakespeare's wife was named Anne Hathaway and he didn't believe me..."Mallory, she's way too young for him." I really like that you chose to start with some general history about Shakespeare...I feel like understanding the dynamics of his life and of his relationships (the very little that we can) makes reading his plays more interesting. Its fun to sort of speculate and guess which parts of the plays correlate with his thoughts about his life. Completely separating personal life from writing is nearly impossible for me, even if it is in concealed ways so I have to assume that many of his plays somehow reflect his own thoughts about the events in his life.
